A little bit about me and my style  :)

For me the love of photography started when I was a young lad growing up in Edmonton during  the 70's. It began as a hobby and quickly turned into a part time paying gig. It became full time in 1991. My first wedding assignment was in 1983 and hundreds of weddings later it is more fun than ever.   

Reason being, the changes wedding photography has gone through over the last decade. Different styles of photography and the latest technology combined, allow me to add an extra bit of creativity to your photos. And of course the ability to enhance the images digitally has sparked my enthusiasm for creating images beyond the ordinary. Lots of fun.

I personally photograph each wedding using different styles & techniques, including film and digital capture.

These days I consider myself a free-flow* photographer with a hint of the classic. After all, we have to keep your parents happy, and the sense of tradition partially intact.  *the ability to anticipate the candid shots and to set up pleasing poses

As much as I enjoy taking wedding pictures my love of photography involves the natural world. You can view some samples here.

As a student of life and photography, I put my heart and soul into my work. It is who I am. It is what I do.
