Q&A

What is your style?   A mix of free wheeling contemporary photography is used along with some traditional poses to attain a complete picture of your wedding. This means that I'll take all the necessary poses in a fun and relaxed atmosphere and capture a lot of candid and unplanned pictures as your wedding unfolds. Plus we'll do any ideas or poses that you have in mind.

Is photography your full time job and how long have you been doing it? Yes, photography has been my full time career since 1991. Part time since 1983.

Do you photograph the wedding yourself or do you hire other photographers to do your work?   I photograph each wedding myself. My daughter, Karlie, is the second photographer at the ceremony and candids.

How many pictures do you take?  The formal part of the day is well thought out and planned, the rest I just shoot what I see. So typically we take about 1200+ for an all day event. Although I've been known to take more. Basically the more time we have the more pictures you get.

What about a deposit?   A $500 deposit is required to reserve your wedding date. The remainder is due on or before the wedding.

What kind of a guarantee do you have?  I promise that you will love your pictures, enjoy your experience and tell all your friends about your photographer. Seriously though, you get a 100% money back guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied with your photos, I'll refund all your money. (note - this has never happened :)

Can we print from our digital files?   The photography part of the day is only half the job. The final prints & albums are the other half. As a  photographer I want to make sure that the quality of my work is the best it can be. The only way to assure this is to have complete creative control over the finished prints & albums. The images you see on my site and in couples' albums are digitally enhanced and custom printed to look the way they do. Therefore if you are interested in my work, I need to do the entire job. Enhanced and printable digital files are included with your package and are yours to keep.

What albums do you use?  Wellington albums. They are awesome!

Do you attend the rehearsal?   I like to attend the rehearsal, it gives me a chance to meet everyone involved and get a feeling for your ceremony.

How much time is required to take the formals?   Two hours is ideal. Any less time and the photos look rushed or we stand the chance of missing important pictures.

Do you have backup equipment?  Yes, I bring along a second camera, extra lenses, extra flash and countless batteries.

If you have any other questions, call me at 780-471-3718.
